| There once was a powerful, rich Ruler and King. Unlike other rulers or kings, this Rulers Kingdom had neither a beginning nor end, His riches and power were unmeasurable. He was quite different in that He truly loved His subjects. He always had their best interest at heart. He knew them much more intimately than they could ever know themselves. His desires were holy, pure and always perfect. Now this perfect, holy and just Ruler in all His love, mercy and compassion for His subjects, whom He created, decided to give them a gift, a very special gift. They would receive this gift at conception, but the gift could not be fully enjoyed for thirty seven weeks. This gift was unlike anything else He had so generously given to His people. This gift was wrapped in flesh and filled with blood. This gift that He gave, allowed them to experience just a glimmer of the joy He felt watching His children, caring for them and always wanting what was best for them. He decided that some of these gifts would live for sixty, seventy and sometimes eighty blinks of His eternal and mighty eye. And yes, some of these gifts for only two or three blinks. But this all knowing, all holy, all perfect and all just Ruler knew His people so very well. He knew that those of us who received a gift for only two or three blinks of His mighty eye would experience tremendous grief. So, in His perfect love, and perfect holiness and perfect kindness He gave them hope. Now this hope came in the form of a “Perfect Gift”, and it was more dear to the Great and Mighty Ruler than anyone could possibly comprehend. This gift was given to His earthly parents for only thirty three blinks of this Mighty Rulers eye. But this gift was given with the purpose that all of the Kings subjects, His people, could enjoy an eternity with Him. Of course, those gifts that had only been given a few blinks, they got to enjoy the Great Kings perfect love, perfect holiness and perfect kindness just that much sooner that the rest of His children. Thank you Almighty God for allowing this family to experience the joy of a couple of blinks with Alexander Curry Kendall. Love, Uncle Doug |
